ESG Summit Cruise on board a brand new Finnlines vessel M/S Finnsirius from Naantali to Långnäs!
During the cruise the international Talent Teams, Mentors and Case Company representatives will present the results of their cooperation. The following companies will be introduced Inmarsat, Euromar, Finnpilot Pilotage Ltd, Fintraffic´s Vessel Traffic Services, Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency and Finnish Transport and Communication Agency, Traficom, Gasum and Hillebrand Gori. There will also be presentations on off-shore wind projects and green transition by inspiring speakers.
On our way back on board M/S Finnswan we have the Award and Recognition Ceremony and also a great opportunity to get a wreck diving experience organised by the Finnish Maritime Archaeological Society using the modern 3D technology and of course plenty of time for valuable networking.

The Superstar vessels operate the cargo and passenger traffic flow smoothly. M/S Finnsirius and M/S Finncanopus have a large capacity to carry lorries and cars, a total of 5.2 kilometers.
The Me & Co Area’s large meeting room can be divided into three parts with partition screens. There are a total of 323 passenger cabins on a Superstar ship.
There will be seven restaurants and bars on each Superstar ship, a traditional buffet but also a wide range of culinary delights, both food and beverages.
The introduction to the TEN-T network and the “Motorways of the Sea” concept aims to improve transport management, introducing the concept of co-modality as a tool for improving the management of the logistics chain. Training people who have to manage logistics chains, in which motorways of the sea are an advantageous alternative in terms of cost and/or time. Promoting EU environmental policy in relation to the transport of goods and the use and functioning of the infrastructure.
Port Virtual Lab is a comprehensive platform that offers technological and educational development tools. It is a logistics lab in which international trade, logistics, and transport students and professionals can simulate real-life operations and have access to a variety of tools to develop and perfect their knowledge.
Please, for the training have a laptop or iPad with you, as the introduction of Port Virtual Lab would require such to have the maximal experience.

POUL WOODALL has more than 40 years experience in the maritime world with a particular interest in climate and environmental issues. He now has his own consulting company, but he has worked for Denmark’s two largest shipping organisations, Maersk and DFDS, for over 45 years combined. Educated as a Maersk management trainee, he has spent 17 years working abroad in Asia, Middle East and Europe. More recently he has been active on the shipping climate and environmental agenda working with, and for, a number of organisations like Danish Shipping, UK Chamber of Shipping and Interferry.
MARCO MUCI is the Country Manager Italy and international relations responsible for Escola Europea – Intermodal Transport.Responsible for international projects, the office, and activities in Italy. International relations expert with experience in the MENA area. Head of the Italian branch of the EEIT at the Port Authority of Centre-North Tyrrhenian Sea, Civitavecchia, Italy. Responsible for the WP 5 institutional and international relations of the ENI CBC MED projects "YEP MED - Youth Employment in Ports of the Mediterranean" and for the "Techlog - Technological Transfer for Logistics Innovation in Mediterranean area". Co-Founder & Coordinator of the new TVET training course “GLIPS” in integrated logistics and freight forwarding. Partnership & Cooperation Committee Member at the MEDports Association. Before pursuing a career in the port logistics sector, he obtained his Master's Degree in International Marketing & Management at Saint Joseph’s University, Philadelphia (USA). Currently specializing in Circular Economy, Blue Economy. Passionate about travels, cultures, and languages.
JESSICA CERVINI is a Teacher and an Ambassador of PVL (Port Virtual Lab) of Escola Europea - Intermodal Transport and ITS Academy Fondazione Caboto Academy. She specializes in Freight Forwarding and Logistics operations in International Trade and teaches in the projects "YEP MED - Youth Employment in Ports of the Mediterranean" and the new TVET training course “GLIPS” in integrated logistics and Freight Forwarding.Before embarking on her professional career in vocational education training she worked in multinational companies operating in international transportation and logistics. She studied at the State University of Milan earning a bachelor's degree in Political science with a Sociological focus; she was certified in "Internationalization practices and techniques," promoted by the ICE Agency - SMART EXPORT in 2022.
Maritime Archaeological Society (MAS.fi) is a Finnish Government recoginized charitable organization, solely based on volunteer work of maritime archaeology amateurs and professionals. The society focuses on "presenting the hidden treasures of the deep for the general public".
The warming seas and negligent plundering are threatening our underwater cultural heritage - namely the historic shipwrecks. In order to preserve the shipwrecks for the future generations via increased awareness, the Society needs need your support!
During the voyage from Lågnäs to Naantali on M/S Finnswan, the Maritime Archaeological Society of Finland is demonstrating their upcoming immersive virtual reality exhibition of the uniquely preserved historical shipwrecks on the Baltic Sea bed.
The participants of the second day of the SeaFocus Summit will have an opportunity to experience a virtual dive into the shipwrecks of the deep with modern 3D technology. Also applicable for various fields of maritime industry.
