Xamk (South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences) is developing a new maritime simulation learning environment in Kotka's Kantasatama. In collaboration with Ekami, this simulator center will be one of the largest and most versatile in Northern Europe. It will include navigation, radio, and engine room simulators, allowing students to practice vessel operations, system monitoring, and emergency procedures. The facility will incorporate cutting-edge technologies such as AI, augmented reality, and cloud services.
