Jonas Ahola is the Managing Director Ahola Special | Co-Owner Ahola Group Ab.

Peter Brüggemann is the Product Owner Strategic Purchasing IT and Head of Group Purchasing at SSB AG. He has graduated as an industrial engineer with experience in Consulting, IT management, sourcing and purchasing from various positions in large group companies in the transport and travel industry.

John Dodd is currently Director of Safety Services at Inmarsat Maritime, responsible for the operation, regulatory and delivery requirements of current and future Maritime Safety Services within the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS). John works closely with external authorities such as the International Maritime Organization (IMO), International Hydrographic Organization (IHO), Rescue Coordination Centres (RCC) and Maritime Safety Information Providers (MSIPs) to ensure Inmarsat Safety Services continue to be the market leaders and pioneers in protecting and saving lives at sea.

Jan Philip Eckmann is a Ferry Journalist and Sales and Marketing Consultant. He has over 30 years active as journalist and moderator in the European Ferry and RoRo shipping industry. Founder of RoPax magazine and in cooperation with Wilhelm Borchert GmbH organizer of RoPax workshops. Moderator for the German Ferry Shipping and Tourism Association (VFF). He started his career in ferry shipping as a booking agent for TT Line and Euroway and Silja Line. After study time he was sales director for a leading forwarding company Bruhn Spedition in the Scandinavian and Continental trade. 10 years he was marketing director for Dräger Medical in Germany. He was over five years responsible for new business and services of the German FRS Group.

Currently Philip works additional as international key account manager for intralogistic solutions and automated vehicles.

Jukka Etelävuori is currently the Logistics Executive at the National Emergency Supply Agency. He has been working in various positions. He has done long-term work to ensure the continuity of sea transport and security of supply. At the moment, Etelävuori works as a senior preparedness specialist in the logistics team of the Security Service Center. He acts as the contact person for the Air Transport Pool, the Port Pool and the Water Transport Pool, and plans and implements the preparedness of these sectors in cooperation with the business community and other authorities.

Catarina Fant is Brand, Communications and Sustainability Director at Wasaline. She has long experience in Brand Management, Marketing, Event Management and Communications in both B-to-B and B-to-C companies.

Jacob Granqvist is a member of Gasum's management team and holds the responsibility for Gasum's Maritime business. Jacob has gained extensive experience both in the marine fuel industry and in the shipping sector. He has previously held diverse roles within various vessels and shipping companies, as well as occupied significant positions in marine fuel providers. Jacob is deeply passionate about fostering sustainability in the shipping industry through the use of renewables and e-fuels. In his leisure time, he finds joy in e.g., sailing and proudly represents Finland as a member of the national sailing team in the 49er Olympic class.

As the Managing Director of Scandinavian Auto Logistics AS, Henrik Otto Jensen has established the company as a key player in the logistics and shipping sector. Since its formation in 1999 as a partner with Grimaldi Group, Italy, Scandinavian Auto Logistics has been at the forefront of providing efficient and reliable automotive logistics solutions.
Under Henrik's leadership, Scandinavian Auto Logistics has built strong partnerships and gained a reputation for excellence in the industry. Furthermore, Henrik Otto Jensen also owns Niels Winther Group, serving as commercial agents to RoRo shipping. His extensive knowledge and experience in the logistics field make him a highly sought-after speaker.
In addition to his industry roles, Henrik holds a board position at The Danish Shipping & Port Operators and serves as a member of the advisory board to the Port of Esbjerg. These positions further demonstrate his commitment to driving positive changes in the maritime industry.

Annette Höglund-Dönnes has her passion in accelerating industry transformation using virtual twin technology towards global sustainability.  She is the Head of Business Area Infrastructure, Energy & Materials at the Dassault Systémes (3DS). She has been recognized for being an inspirational team manager, skillful sales director, marketing and events coordinator, and business strategy creator. Commercial business experience ranges from software platforms and enterprise IT solutions, to technology innovation partnerships in various commercial and academic research organizations and high performance component manufacturing. 

Merja Kallio-Mannila is the Deputy Head of Group Sales, Marketing & Customer Service, and as Head of Sales & Customer Service Finland at Finnlines.

Lamia Kerdjoudj is the Secretary General of FEPORT, the Federation of European Private Port Companies and Terminals. She has a deep reservoir of knowledge and experience. As the Secretary General of FEPORT, the Federation of European Private Port Companies and Terminals, she has demonstrated expertise in the maritime and logistics sector. With an Executive MBA from ESSEC and Mannheim Business Schools, as well as Master´s Degrees in Shipping, Transport and Logistics, English Literature and Applied Psychology, she is well-equipped to contribute with valuable insights.

Frank Kho is an independent advisor active in the container logistic and terminal industry since 2018. He has more than 30 years’ experience in this industry across the globe. His career includes 20+ year in several senior management positions in Asia and Europe with PSA and HPH, 2 of the leading global terminal operators. Recently he has been appointed as the CEO of the new TIC 4.0 Association (Terminal Industry Committee 4.0), supported by FEPORT and PEMA, developing standards for the terminal industry. Mr Kho has an excellent track record in managing and leading several container terminals across the globe, including HIT in Hongkong and PSA Antwerp. He has a Master degree in Control Engineering/Avionics and is also an ICF-trained Professional Coach (certification is pending). 

Heli Koukkula-Teixeira has over 25 years of experience in international project co-ordination, event management and organising international events, seminars and conferences from the idea to the implementation and co-operation with corporate and institutional bodies and communications. Furthermore, she is specialised in marketing and communication. Earlier she worked several years for the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Finland as well as for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland as an important member of the coordinating groups of international development programmes related to Russian markets. She is one of the founders of the SeaFocus, and currently acts as a Chief Marketing Officer

  Miika Mandel is the CEO of South Finland Port Service Ltd.

Marco Muci is the Country Manager Italy and international relations responsible for Escola Europea – Intermodal Transport. He is responsible for international projects, the office, and activities in Italy.
International relations expert with experience in the MENA area. He is the Head of the Italian branch of the EEIT at the Port Authority of Centre-North Tyrrhenian Sea, Civitavecchia, Italy, and responsible for the WP 5 institutional and international relations of the ENI CBC MED projects "YEP MED - Youth Employment in Ports of the Mediterranean" and for the "Techlog - Technological Transfer for Logistics Innovation in Mediterranean area". Co-Founder & Coordinator of the new TVET training course “GLIPS” in integrated logistics and freight forwarding. Partnership & Cooperation Committee Member at the MEDports Association. 

Esko Mustamäki has over 30 years extensive experience in shipping and shipbuilding industries in Finland. He is today a Member of the Board of Directors at Helsinki Shipyard. His previous experience includes executive positions in a leading Finnish RoRo/RoPax operator, an Icebreaker/offshore vessel operator, and a leading Finnish shipyard. During his career, he has worked on several restructuring and business development projects. In 1984, Mr. Mustamäki graduated from the Helsinki University of Technology with a Master's degree in Engineering (Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering).

Dr Rolf Neise has a long career in SCM, both in senior line management in some global FMCG companies in different countries around the world as well as in various consultancies. Amongst others, he was working as the Global Head of Logistics Operations at BAT (British American Tobacco plc), in charge of defining and implementing BAT’s logistics strategy in the e2e supply chain. Currently he is Member of the Intelligence Hunt Team, where he drives the international Supply Chain focus forward. As a Senior Advisor he also supports multinational companies to optimize their SCM and logistics structures, and gives lectures at the International School of Management (ISM). Mr. Neise is a highly acclaimed presenter and regularly speaks at supply chain conferences around the world. 

Marco Palmu is the Head of Passenger Services at Finnlines. He is also a Member of Finnlines Group’s Board of Management. Earlier he worked for Tallink Silja Oy, where he served as a Commercial Director. He has an extensive background from shipping and passenger business.

Tom Pippingsköld has worked at Finnlines for ten years. He started as CEO last year. Before his appointment as CEO, Pippingsköld served as the company's Deputy CEO

Jyrki Ranki has more than 25 years experience from Scandinavian forest industry and logistics. Mr Ranki started his logistics career already in 1993 as working for Metsä Fibre Pulp company as a Logistics Manager. His main task was to create and operated centralised maritime and port logistics solution and organisation for Metsä Group Pulp Industry. In 2009 he was appointed as a Vice President of Metsä Fibre Logistics. Since 2010 he has also been responsible for Metsä Group´s Scandinavian land transportations and port handling as a head of these operations. Since 2015 Mr Ranki has been working as the Head of Metsä Group Maritime Category. Mr Ranki has also other positions of trust, as he has also been a Chairman of the Board of Directors of two Finnish Stevedoring in Kemi and Kaskinen..

Lena Ridström is the Managing Director for Columbus Sweden, globally responsible for Data&AI and a member of the group management. Columbus is an IT services company listed on NASDAQ Copenhagen with 1600 employees in 10 countries.As CEO in tech companies, management consulting- and logistics companies she has a long experience from digital transformation of businesses based on ERP- and SupplyChain-solutions together with advanced analytics implementations. Moreover, Lena has experience as a board member and investor from startups to listed companies. Existing board assignments in 4CStrategies AB and IMI AB, during 2016-2023 a board member of Oriola Oyj. Lena has a MBA from Linköping University.

Ida Saavalainen is the President and CEO of the Ahola Group, After her studies, Hanken alumna Saavalainen worked for a few years at ABB in Helsinki before moving to Kokkola to work at the transport and logistics company Ahola Group in late 2009. Saavalainen has been head of the third-generation family business since September 2022. 

Johannes Sommer is the Sales Director at LKW WALTER for Nordic countries, working in the company for 24 yrs. Responsible for our Sales Team and our major customers in Nordic countries (Finland: eg. Metsä Group, SSAB, Kotkamills). I am located in our HQ in Wiener Neudorf (suburb of Vienna), Austria.

Kim Sveholm is the Design Engineer at Langh Tech. 

Ulla Tapaninen has over 25 years’ experience in logistics and maritime transport research and development work. She received her PhD in 1997 in logistics modelling. She has worked for 10 years as a Development and Environmental Manager at Finnlines Plc. Between 2006–2012 she worked as a professor of maritime logistics in the University of Turku specializing in maritime and port operations and their IT; and maritime safety. Thereafter she served as Senior Specialist and Head of Unit for the City of Helsinki in port and cross-border transport development projects. She started as Associate Professor of Maritime Transport in Estonian Maritime Academy in Tallinn University of Technology in 2021, focusing on sustainable shipping.

Jordi Torrent, an industry leader and a prominent figure in the global supply chain. With his extensive experience Jordi Torrent brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. His visionary approach and strategic insights have been instrumental in driving positive changes in the maritime industry. He has developed the Port's IV Strategic Plan, adapting its strategy and objectives to the latest global and regional trade and logistics trends. He is particularly involved in the intermodal sector and has spearheaded initiatives such as the development of PPP projects of inland terminals and rail services in Spain and France. With over 10 years of experience in the Port, logistics, and rail sectors, Jordi Torrent offers invaluable perspectives on the evolving trade patterns and its influences. He brings not only his extensive knowledge and expertise but also insights from the thriving Port of Barcelona and as a General Secretary of The MEDports Association, the Mediterranean Ports Association, also the insights from the Mediterranean.

Teemu Vaahtera is the CEO of the Port of Uusikaupunki.

Yrjö Vainiala is the Port Director and COO of the Port of Naantali. He holds a master's degree in engineering. Earlier he worked at the Satakunta University of Applied Sciences as a Senior Lecturer in Logistics. In the 1990s, Vainiala worked as a Logistics Manager at Oy JIT-Trans Ltd. Rautaruukki's subsidiary.

Anders Wiklund is the Island Ambassador, and County Manager of Åland OX2 Ab. He is also the Chairman of the Network for Sustainable Large Companies on the Åland Islands. Earlier Anders acted as the CEO of Optinova Group, world leader in manufactoring of advanced tubing for high demanding industries.
