The winner was MacGregor Case Cargo Identifying & Tracking System with the team MacGregor Vikings.
The first runner-up was Arctech Helsinki Shipyard Case Improved Information and Material Handling in Shipbuilding Through IoT and the team S2V
The shared second runner-up Port of Helsinki Case Traffic Flow Optimisation Through Real-Time Traffic Data by team Smart Helsinki and Stena Line Case How to Improve the Ferry Turnaround Time in the Port by 10 Minutes? by team Aurora.
The #IntelligenceHunt3 Finals took place in Gothenburg, Sweden, at the Lindholmen Conference Centre, June 12th 2018.
The theme of the 3rd IntelliegenceHunt project was IoT & Sustainable Shipping and the teams focused on cargo and from the perspective of Intelligent Ports, which is a theme of SeaFocus in 2018. We had 10 companies and 70 students divided into 19 groups. The student groups worked on the cases in close co-operation with the companies for about two months and presented their solutions at the Finals.

Distinguished Jury of the #IntelligenceHunt2 did not have an easy job to choose the winners.
The winner was Varova case and team Strategic Digi Leap and the first runner up MacGregor case and team Roll-on-Roll-off.
The winner team was awarded with a check of 3000€ granted by the Finnish Shipowners´ Foundation and the first runner up with a check of 1500€ granted by DFDS Group.
The #IntelligenceHunt2 Finals was held November 14th 2017 onboard M/S Silja Serenade at the Port of Helsinki.
There were 13 companies with cases and 85 students divided into 25 teams. The student teams worked on the cases in close co-operation with the companies for two months and presented their solutions at the Finals.
All together there were almost 200 participants representing 28 different nationalities.

The winner team was Deltamarin with a Case: Utilisation of Total Cost of Ownership Model to Enhance Deltamarin’s Added Value. Team members Anna Lönnblad and Joonas Honkanen, from the Aalto University School of Business were awarded with a 3000€ check granted by the Finnish Shipowners´ Foundation. In addition the winners got to join an international program called 2017COMMUNICATORS KIT, a 10 weeks program guided by International Professionals offered by E52center.
The Finals of the #IntelligenceHunt1 project was held May 18th 2017 at the Heureka Science Centre in Finland. All together the Finals gathered around 80 participants, representatives of companies and students from 22 different nationalities.
There were 13 companies with cases and 38 international students. The student groups worked on the cases for 2 months and presented their solutions at the Finals. The outcome from their work surprised us all with innovativeness, great ambition and yet realistic approaches.
