Intelligence Hunt Project Guidelines

TWO PARTS OF THE PROJECT

  • At the Finals of the Project Competition in June 1-2, 2022 the Talent Teams present their understandings and views on the importance of the given case assignment to the case company, the industry and the society.
  • After the Finals the project continues and the Talent Teams will work on the confidential part of the project and will deepen the findings and solutions.
  • This part will be presented only to the Case Company Management only in the end of June 2022 with the team Mentor.

EVALUATION MATERIALS

  • The Case Company gives their official presentations templates for the Teams, or if not, the Teams may design their own for the presentation in the Finals.
  • The Case Company and SeaFocus Logo must be visible in the front page of the presentation with the text Intelligence Hunt IX Finals 1-2.6.2022
  • Teams sent the ppt-presentations and videos to SeaFocus, and SeaFocus forwards them to the Case Companies for their approval. After approval, SeaFocus sents the materials to the Jury Members.

  • Deadlines in Intelligence Hunt IX project:  VIDEO + PPT
  • > First version of the materials by Teams to SeaFocus by 23.5. , 8.00 PM Finnish time
  • > Feedback from the Case Company by 25.5.
  • > Final version of the materials by Teams to SeaFocus 29.5., 5.00 PM Finnish time
  • > Approval of the Final Materials by the Case Company 30.5.

  • The video presentation with the ppt can be only 8 minutes long, high-quality presentation with clear outcome. This is the material which will be sent to the Jury before hands with the ppt. Absolute maximum 12 pages.
  • This ppt-presentation can be, but does not have to be, used in the video presentation. We recommend using only the strongest highlights of it, not to overload the audience with slides but to focus in listening to you.
  • Video recording can be done using Teams/Zoom for example. Align with SeaFocus office, Heli Koukkula-Teixeira, about the technology used, in advance before submission.

  • FINALS 1.6.2022 at 10-17.00 Helsinki time
  • It is important to have the whole Team at present in the Finals.
  • The Team will present their findings regarding the case assignment at the Finals on stage.
  • Our strong recommendation is to use the Power Point only as a support material and have the Team´s oral and visual performance be the main means. Use your own personalities and attractiveness when on stage.
  • Dress code: Business Casual

  • THE AWARD CEREMONY 2.6.2022 at 10-11 Helsinki time
  • SeaFocus and the Jury Announcing the Winner
  • All Talent Teams should join the Award Ceremony to be able to give the winner speech if chosen.
  • The same goes with the Mentor and the Case Company representatives.
  • Photos of the Winner Team
  • SeaFocus prepares and publishes News about the Winner Team
