FINNLINES is a shipping operator of RoRo and RoPax services in the Baltic Sea and the North Sea. The Company is a part of the Grimaldi Group. Finnlines transports cargo and passengers every single day serving customers with more than 170 weekly freight departures, 80 of which take passengers providing efficient shipping services. In addition to sea transportation, they provide port services in Finland in the ports of Helsinki, Turku and Naantali. Finnlines’ passenger-freight vessels offer services from Finland to Germany and via the Åland Islands to Sweden as well as from Sweden to Germany. THE PORT OF NAANTALI serves the trade in a wide range of the hinterland as well as the industry close to the port. Industrial enterprises and factories (e.g. oil refinery, lubricant factory, coal power plant, betaine factory, grain silos etc.) operating in the immediate vicinity of the harbour generate large material flows. Naantali is today 4th largest universal cargo port in Finland. The total annual traffic to and from the port is ca. 7–8 million tons, of which 80 % is foreign traffic. The Port of Naantali is one of the busiest cargo ports in Finland with ca. 2000 annual number of vessel calls.
The Port of Naantali is an important link in the logistics chain of the Baltic Sea, which role is emphasised by its inclusion in the TEN-T traffic network, which covers the whole of Europe, linking the Port of Naantali to both the Nordic Triangle and the Motorway of the Baltic Sea.

WASALINE transports passengers and goods across the Kvarken strait. We are reliable, friendly and quality conscious. Wasaline develops the traffic across Kvarken and strive to restore it to its former glory, even when it seems like a fight against the odds.
The ferry Wasa Express has been in traffic between Vaasa and Umeå since 2013. Wasaline is the shipping company that operates this line and is owned by the two cities on both sides of Kvarken. The connection is used by utility passengers and freight customers but also fills a function for recreational passengers looking to go shopping in the neighbour city or just to experience the sea route aboard a comfortable passenger ferry.
The new ferry Aurora Botnia is a modern ship with 2 cargo decks. It will accommodate around 800 passengers and has a freight capacity of 1,500 lane meters for trucks and cars. The vessel will be designed to be environmentally friendly, with a machinery running on a dual fuel and battery solution. The main source of fuel is liquefied natural gas, LNG. The vessel will also be able to utilise biogas. Delivery will take place in spring 2021.
