This morning session Green Transition with New Technologies including AI and Machine Learning brings together innovators, students, and academic experts for this unique competition focused on harnessing technology for environmentally sustainable future in maritime and logistics.
TUESDAY 8.4.2025 at 9:00-12:00 WTC TURKU
As we navigate the challenges posed by climate change, the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and green initiatives presents incredible opportunities for impactful change. Today, we celebrate the collaboration between start-ups and academia, fostering an environment where creative ideas can flourish and drive the green transition.
Throughout this event, you will witness emerging entrepreneurs and talented students present their groundbreaking projects that leverage AI and machine learning to tackle environmental issues, optimize processes, and promote sustainability. Our panel of esteemed judges from both industry and academia will evaluate these innovative solutions, providing valuable feedback and insights.
In the event we encourage you to engage with the presenters, share your thoughts, and network with peers and mentors. Together, we can inspire a new wave of sustainable innovation that not only addresses current challenges but also paves the way for a greener, more sustainable future.
The best 5 start-up companies, 5 students with support by their professors, if so wished, will share their views on stage.

1. Enroll as a candidate to a segment of start-ups or students.
2. We shall screen all the candidates and inform the approved ones by email.
3. We will send the registered candidates a challenge January 10th.
4.Deadline of submitting the solution and results by mid March. Date to be communicated when assignment is given.

5. Our panel of experts will decide the five best candidates of both start up and student segments, who all are invited to this event in Turku on stage for a 6 minute pitching as finalists. We will have a teams meeting with every finalist.
Materials/videos will be shared online in advance in our webpage and shared also in the social media for global polling by the industry stakeholders.
